A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Well I was with a guy about two years ago who was goin to the navy reserves he was a good guy treated me right but I was sixteen at the time and I did him dirty and left him for my ex who wasn't so great as I thought Itwould be. Several months later when I was wit my ex he had called me just to ask why I did that I told him I was sorry and I followed my heart but you were such a good guy to me and I know he didn't deserve what I did to him now two years later I think about him and wonder if he still hates me and he has forgave me but i'm afraid to contact him of any sort just to see how's he been and all ...is that bad? To be honest I do miss him and try not to regret for leaving him but I know I should move on right?

dirtball agony auntIt's not bad to wonder how he's been, but at the same time you shouldn't contact him. Let the past be the past and do what you can to live in the present.
