writes:hey. I am so confused. Does my flatmate like me??? Basically we have been living together for about 4 months and I really like him. However, about a month ago he found a note under my bed saying that i liked him and so now he knows how i feel abou him. However, since then he has no backed off at all...we still ge along really well. Also, after chrstmas, have kind off changed...i am not as nice to him anymore and don't always do things for him anymore. however, he knd off comes up to me a lot more now..For the first time we went to luncg together as friends. Also, when i came back after the weekend, we were in the kchen and he came up to me in front of everyone and said 'hey gorgeous. How was yoyr weekend??' and stuff like that. He even joked around and sad that our lunch was a hot date. So what does this mean??? Help coz surely he wouldn't act like this when he knows that i like him if there was nothing going on!!!! right?

Sounds to me like he's interested to be honest and possibly testing the water to see if you really do like him. You say you used to do things for him and you've stopped. Perhaps he's noticed the change and is dropping you hints that he's interested?
I know I'm guilty of this too... I'll turn things into a joke in an attempt to hide my feelings. In a way I sort of test to see whether there is any interest there before I pluck up the courage to go for it.
Why not go out for a drink or something, flirt a little and ask him what he thought about the note he found and take it from there?
