A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Someone on my friends list shared one of my photos on their wall, and they wrote a comment underneath it. I've just tried to find the photo on their wall again, but i can't see it ,so i'm thinking it has been deleted. However, the photo and the comment are still on my newsfeed, and when i look at the same photo on my page, it's still sayng that there has been " 1 share " with that photo. I want to tell them that i've seen their comment too but do you think that's ok?. It's a guy i know ,and he wrote that i could go to his place anytime. If he has deleted the photo, i hope it isn't because he didn't want me to see the comment ?. I'm worried about it. Should i tell him i've seen the comment? I feel like if i tell him that though, he could think i'm looking at facebook too much, but if i don't reply to him, he could think i'm ignoring him. This is why i would rather communicate with people in person, as facebook can be confusing. He also wrote a status message saying " ignore me, i don't care " but i don't know who it was aimed at.

*If you want, you can contact Facebook and notify them he does not have permission to use your photo and send them a link.*

Don't contact him, just go through FB.

For some FB is how they live, for others, it's a place to share stuff with friends/family and for others again it's all about the drama... Use FB as YOU see fit and screw what others "think".

A reader, anonymous, writes (24 January 2012):

He very well may have hidden the photo so only his close friends are able to view it. Which is an option.

If you want, you can contact Facebook and notify them he does not have permission to use your photo and send them a link.

Other than that, why keep him as a friend if he is doing what you described?

What type of photo was it- one to be concerned?
