Comes onto me in text but not in person

Question - (7 January 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 7 January 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 51-59, anonymous writes:

I am seeing a guy from time to time who I love but when we are together he never comes onto me or talks intimately!

- Then the other night he started texting me saying he wanted to get it on with me etc etc. I was quite surprised that I ended up asking if he meant what he said which he replied he did!

Anyway - my question is - can a guy really mean what he says in a text and if so why can't he say it to my face as well?

confusedinkent agony auntIt sounds to me like he's embarrassed or too shy to say it to your face. I would also make sure that it wasn't some prank by one of his friends!. men do play tricks like that on each other, but it's best to ask him in person. He may have just been to shy to tell you face to face, this may be he's way of breaking the ice.

good luck
