Clingy & upset boyfriend

Question - (13 June 2009) 2 Answers - (Newest, 13 June 2009)
A female Australia age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I broke up with my bf a week ago. I'm really over it, but I want to be his friend when we're both ready for it.

2 days after we broke up, his grandfather died. Being a bit of a loner, he has no-one to talk to except me. I don't really want to talk tohim, but feel horrible if i say no.

We go to the same school and are in 4 out of 7 classes together. We hang around with the same people. I can't avoid him and on top of that, he's asking if I still want to go to Formal with him.

What do I do???

PS: I'm 15

I think that you should talk to him and say that you're sorry about his grandfather and that you're there if he wants to chat like friends, but not go to the formal together
