I read about the symptoms of Chlamydia recently and it says you get cystitis symptoms (which I still have, but no infection) and a difference in vaginal discharge. This sounds very similar to me. I am getting tested tomorrow morning, but I am terrified, do you think I will now be infertile, due to the fact that I may have contracted Chlamydia two years ago?

It may be something else entirely, or just a change in your cycle. You are doing the right thing by going to the doctors, it's just a matter of waiting for the results. good luck

I'm sorry this happened, unfortunately there's nothing anyone can say for sure. The good news is it's highly unlikely it made you infertile after only 2 years. 2 years really isn't long enough for that to happen. Worrying about the test won't change the outcome, so just try to distract yourself from the fear. I know easier said than done, but go do something that takes a lot of focus and it will help pass the time better.

Hey, firstly wishing you all the best with your test tomorrow, and I'm deeply sorry to hear about what your boyfriend did to you, I hope my advice helps but usually it takes years (more than 2) before chlamydia can make you infertile, yes it does have other side effects, but honey there isn't much point getting worried about it either, there isn't a lot you can do until you get your test results back, then the GP can talk you all through it and tell you where to go from there, no matter what there will always be people there to help you along the way :)
