This may make you think:"Well-everyone likes xmas, don't they." but isn't there something missing? Where's the talk about celebrating the birth of all christians' savoir? What about the nativity play? Why is "going to church" to much bother on xmas day? Arn't we suposed to be down there and singing and laughing and being unselfconcious? What has happened here?Love your local athiest,Helixxx

babewithbrains, I do believe that a lot of that actually happens. For a while, its been getting drowned out by mass media. Everyone is so "P.C" nowadays that no one dares to mention Christ anymore. I'm not an avid "Bible Thumper" but I do believe in living my life right. Nowadays Christmas is more of a holiday for mostly Big Businesses. But only if you allow it. On top of doing all of the mad shopping, take some time out and celebrate your way with your family. Take back what's been overlooked by rebates, discounts, and sales. So its not a question of what has happened here. It should be focused on how are YOU going to celebrate and with who.
