But i cant really see it lasting for much longer, due to us seemingly drifting apart more each and every day. I have recently started at a new college after leaving secondary school, and i really like a girl there, and i really want to get to know her and hope that something could happen with her and we could start going out. However i would find it really hard to finish with my girlfriend, but every time i see this new girl, i just wish i was with her and that i could be with her, i dont know what it is but i am just really attracted to her, even though we havent really talked much. Firstly i'd like to ask if you have any advice on how i could start talking to this girl and get to know her, as i am quite a shy person, and have tried but keep telling myself not too. And also i would like to ask would it be a bad thing for me to do to start talking to this girl with my intentions on asking her out, when im still with my girlfriend, even though our relationship is unstable? Please help

Well you can't carry on with your girlfriend while you don't really want to be with her and thinking of going after someone else especially not because you just feel you would find it hard to finish with your girlfriend, the way it sounds to me is that you don't want to be in your current relationship therefore new girl or not you should come out of the current relationship if you don't want to be in it.
