She is so rude to me!!!

A female Canada, *una~ writes:

My boyfriend was divorced before I met him. He has a daughter who now lives with his ex-wife. My boyfriend and I will take the little girl out during the weekend and spend some time with her. I get along really well with her, which I'm glad.

When we bring her home (ex-wife's house), I always have a feeling my bf's ex doesn't acknowledge me. She likes to ignore me and won't even say hi (which I think that's extremely rude). I will mostly stay in the car, and let my bf deal with it. My bf and his ex sometimes get together and discuss about their daughter's schooling, etc. Should I stay out of all that since it has nothing to do with me? But I hate her attitude and makes me want to ignore her too.

Anyone have similar experience and can offer me any advice? (side note: the ex was the one who ran off with another guy which broke my bf's heart)

Toria agony auntIf we are honest with ourselves how many of us actually like our ex's new partners? And the fact of trying to be polite and things with that person is definatly trying. Some of us decide it is easier to just be polite towards them and hide our real thoughs where as others will just ignore that outsider and make their feelings clear, I would just stick to staying in the car and leaving the talks between your boyfriend and his ex as when it comes to it the child is their's and she may feel it doesn't concern you, at least she doesn't make it hard for your boyfriend to see his little girl when your with him.
