I'm a really nice girl and I take pride in everything I do.  I think that most people who intern have already gone to LIM or FIT first, and there are few positions and lots of people trying for them, so the competition is fierce. More often than not, knowing someone in the industry is a the way most people get a job in the industry, or volunteering through school by working behind the scenes, dressing models and doing junior work, getting their foot in the door that way. My daughter goes to one of the best fashion schools in the world, Istituto Marangoni, and that is how most of the people attempt to find positions at her location in London. Good Luck, Dear.
