writes: I have been in a relationship with a man for a little over 2 years now. We work in the same place and he would write me notes, things that made me feel good about myself. At that time I was still married. I have since divorced. My divorce was not over him. He was also married and still is. I would ask many times 'where was this relationship going' and his answer is 'can't really say'. I have had some suspicions about some things and when I ask him about them he comes to me and says that we have to cool it for a while. 3 times he has done that. I feel that each time I ask it is true and that's why he is saying that we have to cool it for a while. What do you think? I thought that a relationship should be honest and sincere whether it be physical or emotional. What do you think? In the begining I thought he really cared for me and it wasn't just about the sex but now I'm really starting to think that this is what this relationship is about. What do you think?

reader, anonymous, writes (13 February 2005): he'still married. he won't commit to you. find someone else. you will just end up with a big heartache, if you haven't already. he can't get nothing at home in his marriage, so, he turns to you. dump him!
A reader, Dominique McDonald, writes (13 February 2005): Cool off, give him some time to chase you- at the moment it sounds like he has got you on a plate. If he realises that he wants to commit to you then fine but if he carries on playing his games then walk away completely. Remember- he is still married- is this fair on you or his wife? No.You can do so much better and you are right- it doesn't sound like an honest and sincere relationship at the moment. Look inside and find out what you really want. You must be strong. Good luck!
