writes: Hi, I have been with my girlfriend now for close to 3 years and we have a lovely 13 month old daughter, we also love each other very much. however i have got a problem with her past, before we met she had an affair with a married man and 2 one night stands one of which was with a man she never even got the name of, these are things that i strongly disagree with and i cant stop going on about them to her and its making her and my life hell, please give me some advice on how to deal with this as i dont believe i can go on like this.

Is she a committed women that loves you dearly? Come on. You were a virgin when you met her? Why the double standard? Why are you looking for excuses?

Forget her past for a start because it has nothing to do with you! Why would you want to cause trouble in your relationship for no reason. You have a daughter to think about. You obviously have a good relatioship other then this so stop putting your girlfiend through unnecessary pain, im sure shes not proud of her past so stop bringing it up before you lose her for good!
