reader, anonymous, writes (11 May 2007): Can't tell at all.. you may however be able to tell if the girl is experienced... just depends on what she does and how well she can do it... but in all honesty... we are really so worried about our own performance that we never really notice either way...

Besides, when two people have sex for the first time, it is almost always a little bit on the clumsy side. Every partner will be different in different ways, and this will make trying to figure out how experienced a girl is more difficult.
But, if you are sexually inexperienced, and your partner is more experienced, discovering what makes you tick together could be a bonding moment for the two of you. Be honest, and work things through with him... or her.
That said, I must point out that being inexperienced isn't a bad thing, and if you plan on falling in love and getting married, you may prefer to be more inexperienced than experienced, in just such a case; which means limiting your sexual explorations to people you really think are worth it, and possibly marriage material. One doesn't have to have sex in order to have fun these days.
