I havent masturbated before and I'm a virgin, although some of my friends have regular orgasms using both masturbation and sex - but they all have their periods. I want to masturbate but don't know how, and I don't know if I'll actually orgasm because I haven't started yet... Somebody please help by telling me if you can orgasm if you haven't started, and how to masturbate!

I've tried what you said... this is so embarrasing... It doesn't really feel nice. It feels more like... I cant really describe it... like that feeling inside your chest you get when you've been tickled, except down there? It's not bad, but not good either. And I don't feel anything from touching my nipples... I feel like a massive freak. I get aroused by random stuff, but as soon as I act on that arousal it goes away and I'm left feeling numb and ashamed. Whats wrong with me?!

No one can tell you the most effective way for you to masturbate; it's up to you to explore your body and figure out what feels good.
As for your friends who are 14, and having sex, complete with orgasms, I don't know how true that is, so don't feel like you're different if you haven't had an orgasm or sex. At 14, no one is mature enough to handle the emotions that go along with sex. Stick to masturbation and getting to know yourself physically before you try to get to know someone else.

There comes a day when we get curious about our own body, and we explore it, like looking at it on the mirror, or touching it when we're in bed. That journey is a no return one, because it helps you understand how things feel, what you like, what makes you feel pleasure, it helps you know your body and love it.
When you are aroused, all your body feels alert, specially those private spots, like your breasts, nipples and down there. Arousal can come from many sources. Images are powerful, for example. Have you ever felt a tingling feeling down there when watching a love scene in a movie? Or when you have been kissed?... You can also create it, in your mind, when touching yourself. Don't rush it though, just caress yourself and see what feels best. Personally, I like to caress my nipples and go in circles around my clit. It's a sensitive spots right between the inner lips, it grows a bit when you stimulate it. You don't need to put your fingers inside yourself if you don't feel like.
If you enjoy it, you can go all the way for an orgasm, bu rubbing that area. It will feel like nothing you've ever felt before, it's like a rush of blood to your head, your muscles get tense, and it's like your heart beats changed place to down there, it tickles and relaxes you. You will know for sure when you get there.
Also, do this when you have time alone for yourself. Maybe when you go to bed and no one bothers you at night.
Happy exploring.
