Hey sweetness,
It sounds to me like you have BV, Bacterial Vaginosis. I'm not doctor, however. Really, REALLY, I'm not a doctor, but you might just have an infection or something. If you go in to see your doctor, he or she can give you some antibiotics to take and it should clear up. If it is BV, you can get that without having sex, absolutely.
CD was right on with all of her advice (as she always is). The sooner you get to the doctor, the faster you'll get rid of whatever is going on!
Good luck, sweetness.

Yes it is possible to get some STIs without having full sex. For example if you received oral or fingering from someone with a cold sore you could catch herpes that way. However, smelly discharge doesn't come along with those viruses. It sounds to me like one of two things, either thrush or vaginosis which is an infection where you get a fishy smelling discharge that is sometimes an odd colour. Your doctor can prescribe you some antibiotics for this if it has happened. Don't be embarassed. The sooner you sort it out the better itll be!
