A very weird question I know but my friend has recently been telling me that she has these really bad aches as though she has lost someone in her life, which she hasn't, and she says it feels like she can never love anyone again but she doesn't know why.

She also said that she feels this big gap in her chest, almost like a cavity of lonliness.

Do you think you can know if you lost your soul mate but not know them yeat?

I just wanted to repond about what your friend has been feeling because I have had a similar feeling. I have had dreams of a man that I have never seen or met but in the dreams I love him very much and it is a feeling I have not felt before. I have had these dreams for the last 20 years and everytime I wake up from one of these dreams my heart just hurts and I feel a void. Maybe we have had a pastlife together and were just not meant to be here this go around. Maybe these are just dreams and nothing more and I'm a little crazy! lol Anyways, I kind of know what she is feeling and just wanted to tell you my story.

I'm not sure how it would work if you never knew your soulmate but when I lost my soulmate I could definitely feel it. I've never had a heart attack but that's the only way I can describe it. It felt like all the breath had left my body and someone was stabbing my heart. When the pain finally left I was left with that hollow empty feeling in my heart that your friend is talking about. About 30 minutes later I got the call that Victor was missing but I already knew he was gone. They found him the next morning. That empty feeling stayed in my heart for about a week after the funeral. During the 2 weeks after he died I could feel him walking beside me everywhere I went. Then a week after the funeral I was at the house by myself crying and it felt like he was hugging me. I experienced a really warm feeling and then I couldn't feel Victor anymore but the emptiness in my heart was gone. I don't know if any of this answers your question but that's what it felt like for me when my soulmate died.

OmShantih agony auntEcho the posts below...She seems full of it! i am very connected to the spirit world and I have never heard of someone going through this, it could be linked to other things, like a spirit guide crossing over or if she is a sensitive she could just be picking up on the feelings of a spirit that is connected to her, its something for her to look into I suppose. does she feel like this all the time or is it in certain times and places??

Just want to add that I'm loving your Twilight avatar, I cant wait for new moon!! :)

natasia agony auntTo be honest, I think it is probably just hormones. They can make you feel very strong emotions, and then we're always looking for explanations for them.
