Does anyone know if you can collect unemployment if you need to relocate to another state. ??? I've bee at my job for 7yrs now in NJ and need to move to NC. Can I coLlect ??

If you qualify for unemployment benefits in New Jersey, those benefits are transferable to North Carolina and all other states.

Contact the New Jersey State Department of Labor, Unemployment Insurance Division for additional information.

You will be okay.

Adorskable  agony auntNo you can't because you voluntarily quit your job. In some cases you can collect but relocation is not cover under unemployment benefits.
