A yeast infection to the best of my knowledge does not cause infertility, however chlamydia left untreated can cause infertility and can also develope into a much more nasty std known as PVD (pelvic inflamitary disease)

A yeast infection is not an STI - it comes from an unbalance in the yeast that lives around the vagina and can be treated easily with some cream and a tablet from the doctor. It does not make you infertile!
For women, the main STI that causes infertility is Chlamydia, this often has no symptoms in men or women but only causes infertility in women. It can be tested for by the doctor with a simple urine test so if you are worried then go get an STI test at your doctors.
Just remember, all STI's can be very harmful in a number of ways, not just by causing infertility. Always use a condom and everytime you sleep with a new partner get an STI test, and get them to take one too. That way you always know you are safe and wont encounter any problems in the future.
I hope this helps!
