Can we move past being close friends?

Question - (29 June 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 6 July 2010)
A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

I am friends with this guys and we are incredibly close. At one point we started calling each other bro and sis. At first I thought it was a joking kinda thing like that's how close we are, but now i like him so much but i'm afraid that if I try to make anything more out of our relationship that i 'll lose him because he only sees me as a friend or sister.

We tell each other "I love you" at least once a day and we text all the time. And when we were texting one night playing "Truth or Truth"(lol) he asked me if i've ever liked him as more than a friend and truthfully i seid yes. Then I asked him if he thought i was pretty and he seid yes. This all makes me fall even harder for him.

My question: Can we move past the brother sister thing and have a relationship?

Hmmm - I think he likes you but is trying to cover himself incase you don't like him. Tell him you have feelings for him that are different to a brother and sister feelings - that's just wrong!!! If he rejects you, you know and you will be able to move on. Good luck!!!
