I have been talking to this guy for about 3 years now. In the begining things were great..he was wonderful..i felt like he was really the one..I mean I had so much faith in us, like we were going to be together forever..he seemed almost too perfect and almost 3 years later, I realized it was too perfect..he was completely diffrent when we first met. things went all the way down hill..I realized he is a liar, he is not serious about a long term comitment, in the begining he made me feel like that was what he was looking for...to sum this question up is this. Since I realized we were not going anywhere I decided to stop trying and since then we have tried to do the whole friend thing. problem is...I have so much anger inside of me for him because of the time I put into the realtionship I tried to build that it is really hard to just be his friend...neither of us have moved on..we are both single, but everytime I talk to him I am just so angry and negative. I wonder should we not even try to be friends. and should I just close that chapter in my life??

The Realist agony auntI think you are better off without him. It sounds like he will only ever want something more and cause you that pain when you are together. With all the other people out there it is better to find someone new. Also it is important to note that he had plenty of time to change already so this may be the guy that he is and it won't change because of you.
