I haven't heard the term 'invalid' for many years, and many parents of disabled children would find the term insulting...if it were true that all babies fathered by intoxicated fathers are disabled, there would be very many more disabled children in the world don't you think? After all many babies are created as a result of a drunken fumble. It is an urban myth, but these often have an element of truth in them. In this case it is true that you are more likely to conceive a healthy baby if you both have healthy lives (no smoking or drugs, limit alcohol, eat well). Research is also showing that the health of parents at conception can have far reaching implications for the long-term health of the child.

Also, you should have safe sex, it's your own fault if it is unprotected, and if he is drunk then when you do get pregnant he won't want anything to do with the child as he didn't know what he was doing in the first place. Perhaps talk to your boyfriend if you do want a child, if you just want sexual pleasure then do it safely.

No it's if you drink while your pregnant then you risk the chances for an invalid, or your fetus having fetal alcohol syndrome.
