i received a message from an online female friend who i care for so dearly and it read as follows: HATE YOU* what's with the asterisk? does it mean anything? i'm just not sure if it simply means that she hates me or more. i really wanna know what's with the asterisk. any of you have a clue by any chance?

sometimes astericks means something that cannot be seen through words while you write, like *shy*.
