 Shemales are also known as 'katoey' in the Thai language.
You can find lots of info online.
Shemales are males born with a male physical body but
emotionally feels like a woman or believed that they are
females in a male body.
They take hormone injections or oral hormones or have breast
augmentations to make them look like women.
A female into male is called a 'Butch.'
Shemales are born as normal males and in later life, they
realized that their feminine side is more pronounced than
their male side ,leading them to believe that they are
females born with the wrong body.
There are two ways of defining the sex of a baby.
The usual and normal way is by their physical
characteristics of their sexual organs.
The other way is by deciding on their emotional and
psychological behaviours of the male or female characteristics.
A shemale is born that way and if you are not one,
you cannot be one.

If i am right, by birth having Penis and in the future growth of the Breast will confirm Male to Female
But I am not knowing about the Female to Male. Please clarify on this regards. What type of change they detect.

This type of person i am knowing in a Religious story of Hinduism, called the God Shiva had given 50% of himself to his wife which is called Arthanari or Ardha Narishvarar

 Shemales can still have penises, so those that do, can still be fertile and impregnate a woman. Some opt to have an operation to remove their penises. They do not have wombs, so they can not get pregnant.
Hermaphrodites have both male and female sex organs, but not not necessarily have the capacity to fully function as either, although some may function fine as either female or male. They are all born quite unique and not exactly the same way physically as other people who are intersex.
I'm not sure that a woman becoming a man is referred to as a Shemale, but any woman who still has a womb can become pregnant. There is no option for a woman to have a penis made surgically that is the true equivalent of the male penis.

There used to be a whole community of them around Bugis Street, Singapore, in the 60's and 70's. Nearly all of them were Eurasians with a few chinese thrown in for good measure. Look up Kai Tai's (I think that's how it's spelt)on the internet which should give you an insight.

reader, anonymous, writes (18 April 2008): To the best of my knowledge, gleaned from porn sites, a shemale is a bloke with nice tits and a fine looking arse, but when he/she turns around causes the average bloke to at first be surprised and then to laugh. That aside - if he's still got his nuts and has the inclination to stick his whatsit into a womans whatsit I dare say the poor (real) woman could get pregnant. I doubt that he could get pregnant himself, but there was some bloke / woman - not sure which - on telly the other day who claimed he was pregnant. Weird. It takes all sorts to make a world I suppose!

If a guy is in the process of becoming a woman and still has his tackle intact then yes he can make a woman pregnant.
If a woman is in the process of becoming a man and does not have a tackle intact then yes she can become pregnant.
