It sounded kinda fun, so I went and looked in my parents kitchen and found nutmeg, it was gross!! I swallowed 3 teaspoons full and downed it with water. Am I going to overdose??

The amount of people who find it pleasant i would estimate at 33% so the odds of you liking it arent good. http://erowid.org/plants/nutmeg/nutmeg.shtml has great information if you still want to push forward with it. I wouldn't suggest it though.

In the meantime, here's an excerpt:
Nutmeg is not recommended for use as a medicine because it is too risky. An overdose of nutmeg is harmful and sometimes deadly. There are more effective treatments for all of the ailments that nutmeg could be used for.
Pregnant women should not use nutmeg because it can cause a miscarriage. Women who are breast-feeding should not use nutmeg either. Nutmeg should be used with caution in patients with psychiatric illnesses. Touching the nuts can cause an allergic skin reaction. In the home, nutmeg should be kept out of the reach of children and pets.
