Its your choice what name/surname the baby has.
But like birdy says talk to the father and decide together if your raising the baby together.
Also at the birth of the baby talk to the midwife as she can help with the legal stuff

Absolutely. You can name your child anything that you like and register the baby's name as you wish. You can declare on the birth certificate the name of the father of the child. Make sure that the father agrees with you before you do put all of this in writing to make sure that it is what he wants as well. Naming your child is something that you should do together, if not in person, then at least his wishes should be carried out as much as possible.
