I have to wait until I miss my period to determine whether I am or not and it's really bothering me. Any ideas on what I could do to find out sooner or to help take my mind off it?? Would be very much helpful. Thank you.

You're very welcome. And you've just reminded me of another symptom!! I was roasting hot at night, too - kept saying 'is it only me or is it hot in here?' - and it was only me : ) So that may be a very good sign. I know it's horrible waiting, and being full of hope, and noticing every tiny twinge in your body, but not long now before you'll know for sure. Fingers crossed!

Why don't you just wait for the day your period is going to start, then if it doesn't come, get a pregnancy test from the pharmacy? You'll know straight away then.
Good luck - I hope you are!!

I have to wait until Sometime next week maybe Monday or Tuesday To see If my period doesn't show I'll more than likely pick a day the first or second week of April to goto the doctor. It just seems like its far away from today but I'm trying to be patient and I'm not stressing.

I don't know - it could be anything, having mild occasional cramping. Could be to do with pregnancy, though. And spotting doesn't happen at all with everybody - more people don't spot than do. So you still have to wait, but yes, you could use one of the tests that says they work before your period's due. Remember though that it could say negative because there isn't enough pregnancy hormone, and then 5 days later it says positive...
Do you want to be pregnant??

There is actually a pregnancy test that you can buy that can tell you up to 4 days before your missed period, ask at your local chemist, they will be able to help you.
Hope this helps and good luck.

OK, well you can't have that long to wait - max. 14 days, and you've probably endured a few of those already. I'm afraid you can't do anything to 'find out' sooner, although symptoms do often start by just 7 days after conception - I'm about to give birth to my second baby now, and I knew pretty much 5 days after conception that something was going on. But that's probably because I was looking out for it, and because I'd been pregnant before.
Thing is, you're going to obsess over it - everybody does. Watch a movie. Do lots of exercise. Have sex. (Don't get drunk!) Even though it seems like ages, they're only days, and you'll get through them. Then buy an expensive test and do it first day your period is due.
Fyi, my earliest symptoms are always:
- feeling strangely tired
- feeling slightly as if i might be getting a tummy bug
- sore boobs earlier than i would get them before a period
That's it. But now I've said that, you're bound to feel all of those, whether you're pregnant or not : )
