writes:Are Star Signs always true?I'm a Pisces, and he's a Virgo. Our Star Signs are incompatible, yet we're crazy for each other.I love everything about him, because he's so different from me. I've found that I've got bored with the people that have things in common with me, and there's nothing new and exciting, or odd and weird, to talk about.With him, he always surprises me.And says the same about me.So now I'm confused. Horoscope making is done for amusement. Life decisions made on the basis of a horoscope is a coin toss, but is often better than making no decision.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 October 2007): Some people swear by them if the forecast is good, but ignore them if they get a bad reading, personally i think they are a load of cr*p! Stop worrying about what they say and just enjoy life and being together, do you really need some sort of guidance in the shape for the stars? No. So forget the rubbish and have a great life!!!

 The thing about star signs is they class all people in the partcular star sign as the same and we are all individual dont go with star signs love is love doesnt matter what the stars say

 Starsigns are usually very vague so they apply to everyone who reads them.
Also starsigns are "just for recreational purposes" so they mean nothing in real life.
Dont base your life on starsigns

I too am pisces and whenever I read my horoscope it didnt apply to me either. So if you and your partner are crazy for each other then good for you, horoscopes arent worth reading most the time, I certainly wouldnt let it effect what you have together.

 Astrology and the "science" of star signs isn't real. It's something that is made up, to either make money out of you (by going to see an astrologer, phone a chat-line, pay money to an astrology website) or entertain you. It's not a science. It's made up.
They use clever techniques to say very general things that can be applicable to millions of people, but which to you sound very personal.
They're a nonsense and if you are running your life based on them, you need to get some common sense sweetie.

Okay first of all, your sun sign (Pisces) is only one part of your whole astrological chart. Every planet has a sign it was in when you were born. Sun is for personality, moon for emotions, rising sign for how people see you, venus for love and beauty, mars for passion and ambition, etc. Consequently one pisces can be very different from another depending on their entire chart. Compatibility as well can be complex. There really is no such thing as "incompatible". It all depends on the individuals.
You have to look at the whole chart. In romance, you want to look at the moon (for the heart) and venus - which will show you how you like to be loved. If he is a virgo with a pisces moon, then his heart will totally understand you. Perhaps you have venus in virgo, which means his style appeals to you. You need to get a real chart done by an astrologer, not just look at horoscopes in the newspaper. Those are way too general. Done right, with full birthdates, times and place of birth, I've actually found astrology to be really accurate.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 October 2007): Hi, i've studied astrology for many many years now and never have i or any other astrologer looked at star sign to star sign compatibility as an accurate indicator. its far far more complicated system than that. I have personally known a couple who are pisces and virgo and have been happily married for over 15 years.Every couple experiences problem regardless of they're own individual star sign (or sun sign in professional circles), its what u feel in your heart and your will to carry on when things get tough. There are plenty of websites which deal more accurately with astrological compatibility. If u have the time take a look, but truthfully its not whats important. Good luck (p.s you are a pisces, but only just-trust me)
