DrPsych agony auntOk, here is the truth...by not ejaculating inside then the chances of pregnancy are reduced, not the best method however. I recently got pregnant by accident using this method of contraception with my husband and I am supposed to have fertility issues - unfortunately miscarried but that is not the point. Anyway, sperm are resourceful little chaps and they have a habit of getting up there if they spill near the exit. Men don't feel pre-ejaculate (which happens before the main event) and contains sperm. Get some morning after pills from your doctor or family planning clinic as you are way too young for being a mum. You can have a coil fitted up to 5 days after sex.

I am not going to lecture about under-age sex but what the research shows is that girls who have sex very young, and particularly unprotected sex, are lacking is self esteem to say no and demand what they know is right for their bodies. If this boy is having unprotected sex with you, he could be active with other girls too which means risking all sorts of nasty sexually transmitted diseases. You take care and get a book on family planning from a book store or library so you know how to take care of yourself.

Yes there is a chance that you may be pregnant, so i strongly advice you to do a pregnancey test.

You are so young and really need to think before you have sex again, not only do you run the risk of falling pregnant but you also fun the risk of catching sexuall diseases, use a condom in future better still wait till you are older to fully understand what a sexuall relationship is about.

If you are in a loveing relationship them your boyfriend will respect this, and any future boufriend will also respect this, dont feel you have to have sex just to keep your boyfriend happy,YOU DONT.

I wish you all the best.

Yes you can still be pregnant. Go and get the morning after pill from your doctor or a sexual health clinic or family planning clinic.

You have 72 hours to take it after you had sex.

Always use a condom. Or just don't have sex while you are still in school!

Good Luck!! xx

A female reader, Anonymous2012 United States +, writes (13 September 2008):

I have read in a brochure at Planned Parenthood once that when your partner withdraws before ejaculation, without any other form of contraception (i.e. birth control, condoms, etc.), it is about 81% effective in preventing pregnancy.

19% chance of pregnancy. The odds are in your favor, but there is still a chance. Take a test. And use a condom in the future.

Take a test.

Do you know if he had any infections or diseases? I suggest you go the doctor for test to make sure you are free of infections.

And use a condom in future!!
