reader, anonymous, writes (20 October 2008): Well, basically I would say that the cheating on wife/gf is different to watching gay porn because for men, having sex with hot women is a fantasy of theirs. No guy will only ever fantasise about the woman they are with (or maybe very very few will) and porn is a way to enjoy other women in a totally safe, fantasy way, so there is no need to cheat on their partner.
This only applies to gay porn if gay sex is a fantasy for the guy! If gay sex isnt something that the guy fantasises about or is attracted to and desires, then watching gay porn isnt a turn on.
Does that make any sense? :)

Hmmm, wonder then why men can watch porn and say they'd never cheat on their current wife or girlfriend. The lines seem a little fuzzy to me but thanks for your answers.

Ill answer your question in two parts!
1) My impression of a guy who watches other men having sex, is that he is at least a little bit bisexual. That doesnt mean he wants to have relationships with men or even actually have sex with men, but it means that he is arounsed by the thoguht of two men having sex. Theres nothing wrong with that! He can still fall in love wiht women and have satisfying sex with them!
2) Im a straight girl so I can only tell you how I would react if the roles were reversed. First of all, what are these men doing? Im assuming something sexual, but you dont actually say that. Are you talking about porn? Or webcam with people?
Because I would be upset if it was webcam with live people, or if it was directly communicating with someone. But if you just mean porn, then theres really no harm in the occasional indulgence! And this is how my bf would feel, I just asked him! :-D

reader, anonymous, writes (17 October 2008): some guys would get enjoyment from this but most would get more enjoyment from two girls it is not that bad though maybe he just wants to get in the mood so he can be better in bed with his girl or maybe he secretly wants to be gay or fantasizes. either way if it makes them feel good then it doesn't matter what it is that's the way guys work they don't really care as long as they get something from it. i wouldn't read much into it it's pretty normal.
i would probably be a bit bothered but it is normal, you would be surprised how many girls actually do this. i would probably talk to my partner and ask her if it was me or something else (IN THIS SITUATION I WOULD BE A GUY)

After all, lots of guys regularly watch sexy young women getting it on. What appeals to us as humans is varied and everyone's different so you can never really say something is wrong (unless it's something that IS wrong like beastiality or child porn, eugh!)
Wondering if your husband would enjoy this form of entertainment? You don't know until you ask. Would he maybe feel threatened by this like of yours? Maybe. It all depends upon the person. Again, you won't know if you don't ask.
