My new partner is unable to complete sex because his erection doesnt last, is this a common problem and how do we sort it? It is very upsetting for him and he wants to end our relationship because of it.

Is the man on blood pressure medication? Some medications have an adverse affect on sexual function, notably Beta blocker meds to control blood pressure. From some personal experience, I was unaware and had to risk higher blood pressure for manhood. Sometimes the onset of symptoms are immediate, sometimes delayed, even two or three years.

You could go to the doctor and tell the problem...you could go on viagra...to maintain an erection blood needs to be in the penis or rushed into there.... I find tickling testicles does this easily =D x

I can't even begin to imagine how this must make you both feel. I know that he would probably be really embarrassed but he should go to the doctor to talk about it. I know that there are ways they can help (although what they are I don't know).
You could always go to your GP and discuss it - I know that technically it's 'his' erection problem, but it's both of your sex lives being affected and now he wants to end the relationship. It would mean that you could talk to him about the different types of help that are available. If you don't feel able to talk to your GP, you could always google 'erection problems' most sites with .gov in them are accurate information as they are government sites and a lot of the charity ones are OK. If they ask for money steer well clear!!!
I wouldn't recommend buying viagra unless it's prescribed by a doctor as there are side effects, especially if there are any heart problems. Or any of the other pills on the market that will inevitably 'pop up' if you do google.
I hope that you can get over this problem

Some men do have those problems .Viagra can help him maintain his erections.
There is no need to end the relationship.Ask him to try it.
