Has she been on holiday this year, tell her your favourite film, ask her yours. Does she have any brothers and sisters, tell her yours, etc. There are loads of questions and answers. If in doubt then get keyed up on the internet, there is always something on there worth talking about. Good luck.
Take care

Ted: This morning was so cold and my drive way was snowed in!
Sally: Yeah? It was snowing last night pretty heavily.
Ted: As I was walking out of my front door, I thought about sledding. Wow, I haven't done that since I was little!
Sally: That sounds like a lot of fun.
Ted: Yeah, maybe build a snow fort, like that movie Snow Fort that's coming out.
Sally: I saw commercials for, it looks like a good movie.
Ted: Yeah the actors in that movie are from X movie.
And so on and so forth. 8]

Well start talking about a band, a show, a place you went this weekend or a sport you like. She will see that you want to talk more and chime in.
Good luck.
