this is complicated but i NEED to find this out.

so me and this girl like each other. and I was going to ask her out but I waited a few weeks. after the awhile she seemed to loose interest...so I became worried and confused. then this week her best friend told me she doesn't like me anymore...but all my friends said I should still go for it. so I tried...but I could never get her alone and when I asked about it she said that her friend doesn't know what shes talking about. so im confused. Can anyone make sense of this and help me?

The worst thing that you can ever do is listen to her friends. I would wait a while and let this die down and then if you are still keen then ask her again, if she knocks you back then dont go anywhere near her.

take care

Dude you waited too long and always listen to the chik's friend, they can mislead you at times.By my estimate, you still stand a chance so just be extra nice to her and sweet and she'll back to the way she was at 1st but you gotta make your move fast. Please don't be influenced by your mates when it comes to girls. If she had to embarass you, they would be the 1st ones to laugh at you.Just treat her right and try your luck.If all fails, pull up your trousers and look forward, atleast you tried.

Good luck.

Spamalot agony auntShe said her friend was wrong: what's there to be confused about??? I say try asking her out anyway. About her friend telling you she doesn't like you, sometimes people tell you things to either confuse you or just because they're sad and need a life (or both). Good luck!

A female reader, cd206 United Kingdom +, writes (6 December 2007):

cd206 agony auntYou asked her and she answered straight up that her friend was wrong. Why are you still confused? Basically what happened here is you were interested and she was interested but when you decided to wait a couple of weeks before starting anything she came to the conclusion that you weren't interested and backed off to protect herself. Make a wild gesture to show her you care. If you don't you'll always regret it.
