Can anyone help? I am too afraid to talk to my mom because it's just weird to discuss with my mom, so any advice will help greatly!!!!

I totally understand not wanting to discuss this with your mother. I'm the exact same way. I think this is something you should check into. It's probably not serious but still kind of odd. Are you underweight? Do you play a lot of sports or exercise excessively? Do you have less than 7% body fat? All of those things can contribute to not having regular periods. I say just do some research on the internet if you don't want to go to a doctor. I had extremely painful periods for 3 years. My mom kept saying it was normal for girls my age, but I didn't believe her. I looked up my symptoms on the internet, went to a gyno, and it turns out I have endometriosis, which is entirely NOT normal. I got on the pill and it's working marvelously. I'm sure that's not what you have, but I'm just trying to prove a point that what your body's doing may not be normal and it's worth checking into.

so i dont see a reason to make them regular if they dont need to be
i have no problem not having it every month
but i just wanted to know if they are healthy or unhealthy or something.

I had the same thing.. and i actually still have it.. I'm on birth control now to regulate it, and it really helps. honestly.. If you're not really sexually active and don't use your period as a sure-fire way of determining whether you're preg or not, enjoy it being really light and barely haveing to worry about it and only having it once every 3-6.. or what ever amount of months. I had the same thing, dont worry.

I can't imagine not being able to talk to your mom about this, that's what she's there for. It is nothing to be embarassed about. And she needs to take you to a gynecologist.
