Cateyes agony auntI don't personally believe man or woman can love 2 people at the same time. He's fooling both of you and more then likely both of you will be hurt. I think we can have strong feelings for another person, but not to the point of wanting to have both. When your desiring to be with an other, I think it's probably lust - and "having my cake and eating it to".However, I do believe a relationship can go sour and a person can fall out of love, BUT, they would have broken up with that person first. I think you really need to ask what his intentions are if he is still seeing the other girl. What ever you do, don't set yourself up to get hurt...because that is what will happen. Been there, done that!

AskEve agony auntOne can certainly be very fond of two people at the same time but in my opinion you can't love two people at the same time, at least not in the way you're talking about. If you love a person you're faithful to them, you want to be with them and care for them, they are the priority in your life and you'd never do anything to hurt them. Does he sound as if he's doing that? My guess is that he doesn't love either of you, he's just playing you against one another.

Midge agony auntI believe it is possible to have feelings for more than one person at a time, but not to love more than one person at a time. If someone LOVES you, then it is completely monogomous! He loves you, and no-one else! If he has a girlfriend and says that he loves the both of you, then he is not in love, but in lust! Dont let him fool you into thinking that he loves more than one person, he is just playing the field.
