Talk to a lawyer, you may or may not need one.

Hello Anonymous,
Not to scare you, but...
I'm not sure what state you live in, but in Maryland a 17 year old can be jailed for even having sex with a 14 year old. That actually happened to a friend of mine - the girl lied to him about her age (he thought she was legal) and her mother found out, pressed charges, and he was sent to prison for about a year. Awful.
Perhaps you should check what the local law is in your state, though. Try looking it up on google (but I suggest only viewing the government websites for accurate information).
Take care.

It may depend on what state you are in. I think it is usually not until you are 18 that you can be jailed and then I've even heard that if you are 18 you can have sex with someone two years younger or less.
However, in most states I think that the law states that you can't have sex until you're 16. If that were actually enforced, then most teen mothers would be in legal trouble. In your case, even if the law is against you, it will more than likely depend on her parents and if they want to pursue it.
