I'm in the same sort of situation. It's been 2 years since we broke up and I can't stop thinking of him. It his birthday coming up next month so I'm sending him a card asking him if he want to try it out between us again. I've not seen him for ages and really want to catch up.

i think the only thing you can do is bite the bullett and just tell him hopefully he will still feel the same but at the same time if he does not you have to be prepared to lose him as a friend its a tough one but i hope every thing works out for you.
