writes: hello basically i just broke up with my girl friend of 6 months b/cuz she lied to me continously about stupid things too,she lied about doing something to herself,she said she touched herself and thought about me,i brought the converstation back up a few days later but she then said she has never ever done something like before,after a little arguement she admitted she lied,i just cant get over the fact she lied about something like that,im thinking if she can lie about that she can lie about anything,i dont trust her now at all,im worrying all the time about where she is i never used to,,also she never told her parents about me,and she would also leave me for her friends alot,we would make plans and at the last minute she would cancel them she did that about 4 or 5 times..well i just want to know if i have done the right tihng? what would u do if a guy did that too u?thank u in advanced :)Adam

reader, anonymous, writes (8 July 2006): In my opinion it sounds like you have done the right thing. If you are already arguing after 6 months? But I agree, Ive been in the position of being lied to and its not nice. I kept on believing that they would not do it again, but they did and about bigger things. Dropping you at the last minute suggests shes not that bothered either. Move on and keep your head up! Hope that helps!
