Breaking up with boyfriend was a mistake I want him back!

Question - (21 October 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 October 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I broke up with my bf of 3 days short of 5 months. I regret it now! I have tried talking to him but he doesn't think it'll work out (I broke up with him bc my dad didn't like him). I have a to get that out of the way, but my main concern is he won't talk to me now or even acknowledge I exist. He sees me and he glances and then looks away as if im not there, but then he practically stares at me at lunch sometimes. When we first broke up over a week ago, he would see me in the hall and smile and he'd seem happy if i spoke to him, and he told me he still loved me 4 days ago. Now, he barely acknowledges my existance. Does this mean he's moved on, or what? I really want him back, but i dont know if ive got a shot at getting him back.
