Boyfriend says 'It's over for now'

Question - (1 September 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 2 September 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I don't really now how to take: 'It's over for now' and the complete drop of any kind of communication with me unless a guy talks to me over facebook.

I have been dating Ryan [My boyfriend] of 2 years. Ryan basically was my first, and I've dealt with everything that has happened. Ryan has cheated lied and resorted to calling me crazy, said I'm stressing him out due to him failing his last semester of the year last year, which isn't my fault, he played around and played around during the summer. Ryan and I had previously broken up in December when he broke up with me he kinda messed with another girl. He tells me: I don't think it's going to be like that

But now he barely even speaks to me, is Ryan worth waiting on?..Or should I pack up and move on? He's my first real love.

charliesdevil73 agony auntPack up and move on! "It's over for now" usually means, I want to be with you if it's convenient for me. I know you must be extremely attached to him since he was your first and you've been together for some time now. But, you need to know that no man is worth the pain that you are, and have been, feeling for quite some time now. It will take some time, but your heart will heal and you find someone who is worth your love.
