Whenever he goes out to see him, he always tells me he was with his cousin or with another friend. However, I know that he's 100% lying because I've read his texts before he goes to see this friend. Whenever I confront him, he blows up and curses saying that my assumptions are wrong. It's really frustrating knowing that he's lying and that he won't own up to something small like that. Should I be concerned?I have said in the past that his family nor I like his friend for legit reasons. I have hung out with my boyfriend and his friend many times in the past. Now, he never mentions him or brings me around him anymore... and he hides the fact that he still hangs out with him. It really hurts me that he lies to me. I remember one time he left my house just to call this friend and I knew for a fact he was talking to him yet he lied again saying it was someone else. I don't know what to do!

He's lying. Is it worth going out with a man who lies to you. I don't think so. And the fact that you and is family agree this friend is no good proves my point even more.

But why are you trying to control who his friends are? Unless he is a recovering addict and the friend is a drug dealer or something. If you just dislike him because you don't get along with him then you need to give him some space.
