Hello,

I have been in a relationship with my boyfriend for 3 months. He cares and loves me so much that he even talked about marriage. The problem is that he is moody and pessimistic. Mostly, after he started have health problems. He tells me he is sorry he cannot work long hours like he used too, so it's hard for him to give me everything. I told him I dont need anything, I will help to build our life together. But he always says he doesn't think I will for long.

Really I dont know what to do. I try my best to give him hope, but he is too pessimistic.

Tell me what you think.

It sounds like your boyfriend is lacking some self esteem and has become low due to health issues and not being able to provide as he would like. Just give him total reassurance, tell him how much you care and are happy just to be with him... If he can give you love, honesty and trust, that makes the relationship, not money, cars etc.. It is not his fault if he has heath issues, these things happen, and it sounds like he is doing his best under the circumstances, you sound very sweet and understanding, I wish you both every happiness x
