A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hi everyone,

so last night me and my boyfriend were texting as usual, then he told me he was going to a festival in france so he told me the present he was getting for me was going to have to wait. i was a bit annoyed but i was just glad he was going out to have a good time and got over it after 5 minutes, i seemed a bit off via text but i was just really tired and i haven't really been feeling like myself anyway the past couple of days so my boyfriend asked me what was wrong so i just said i was just tired and i was fine.

he asked again and i just told him i was fine (not in a nasty way) and he just text back saying ok, which isn't like him at all. so after that we texted but was mainly just putting one worded answers, he usually only does this when he's tired, but i can't tell whether he's tired or he's annoyed at me? and when he went to bed he just simply put "gonna go sleep night xly", he never abbreviates the love you usually, i really can't tell whether he's just tired or annoyed at me for something

i've text him today just asking how he was and no response as of yet but i'm thinking he could be busy. i've switched my phone off for the time being so i can stop obsessively checking it.

what does this sound like? :( i'm terrified he's going to break up with me even though he has been really lovey dovey lately it just seemed random that he was acting off with me.

what can i do?
