I know we are only in middle school but I feel like I never can get a guy to like me... I realize middle school love only last for a few months but I still feel bad that the guy likes her and not me.. Should I wait for him or should I move on?! He is the sweetest guy in my grade and he's my type... What should I do!?

I don't think there is anything wrong with waiting to see who he choices before you move on. But the key word is "waiting". That means not let your heart move on to another guy till you feel like you are ready. It doesn't mean backstabbing, fighting, and anything women can do to each other to get a guy.
Like caringguy put so well, there is nothing you can do that will make him like you more than her if he truly likes her.
I've had times where I realized later that a guy who I thought liked my friend actually liked me. So it's not always a guarantee that we are reading the situation right until he makes his move.
If you are the kind who can be kick back about it, then there is no harm in waiting. But if you want to poison your friends drink, then yeah, it's probably best you let it go.

If he likes her more, then graciously bow out with dignity. There's nothing worse than when two friends fight over one person. We had the same thing once at my school. Two friends of mine were fighting each other over the same guy. The best part was he just laughed at them before picking a totally different girl. They went from being friends to nothing, for nothing. If she likes him, and he likes her more, then accept it won't happen no matter how much you wait and move on. He's not worth losing your friend for.
