Anonymous,There are several things this could be. I really reccomend you find a doctor or trusted adult to talk to this about. Without being there neither I nor anyone here can give you a definitive answer about what is going on, but i shall list a few ideas that may lead you in the right direction. First of all, you may no longer be a virgin. If you are involved in gymnastics or regular aerobic workout that stretches the muscles around your vagina, then you may have torn your hymen. My sister was a gymnast and hers broke when she was 13. If this is the case you may need to see a doctor to examine the area. Secondly, if you are using birth control of any kind you may be having some spotting. This is common with long term birth control or sometimes the result of skipping a day. It is usually just a little blood and not apart of your normal flow. Spotting also occasionally may occur between periods for those not on birth control as well, especially if you become really stressed or intensely involved in physical exercise you normally do not do. Thirdly, it could be that your period is actually here and that was an "early warning" if you will. If the above two are not the case, and you were expecting your flow to start soon, then it just may be the early signs of your period. Wear pads just to be safe. Finally, if it is not one of those then a doctor much closer to you will have to help you with this one. I hope all is well and this gives you some ideas and encourages you to find someone who can determine what is going on.Love,Princess Rae
