writes: hello can you help me?I came on my period on the Friday 12th of September and came off 17th Tuesday and I had another period on the Monday 22 of September for about 3 days the I have just came back on again 16th October and it was very dark and now it's day 2, it's not heavy but it's bright red with no smell, it's not like my other periods. I did miss 2 days of the pill after my fist period on 18th September and was going to take the pill again but came back on can you please tell me what this is thank you.

But talk to your doctor ok? I'm not a doctor, and I honestly don't know. I didn't really understand the part you were talking about you looked something up on google. Thrush? Is that what you meant? allhusky is verified as being by the original poster of the questionbut i also had unprotected sex the day after my fisr period on the 17th and had what i was thinking was trush last week as i have googles the word trush and it said you can get trush when you are preggies just want to make sure this is not the case and i do feel a bit bigger in the tummy area

reader, anonymous, writes (17 October 2008): I've never been on the pill myself, but I know for a fact that it definetely messes up your cycle when you miss pills. Don't freak, just call your doctor and talk to the nurse or him, I'm sure they'll be able to tell you what is going on. I don't think you have anything to worry about ok? My sister was always having stuff like this happen. But I would try to make sure you don't miss taking it.

reader, anonymous, writes (17 October 2008): I have had this happen twice in my life--one time recently, another time about four years ago. If you are really concerned, you might want to see a gyno, but I think it is normal to have a phase of irregularity here and there. Maybe wait a month and see if you get back on track.
