A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

He tells me that he loves me and sounds like he means it, he says that he has never felt like this before, that he would do anything for me and never wants to loose me, he says that this is the first time he has been in love untill now.. The problem? he is one of my best friends boyfriend! we are having mutual feelings for each other and even though I've tried so hard to avoid them i just can't deny them anymore. What im feeling is just so real. even though i feel so happy when I'm with him, I can't help but think about my friend. I don't know what to do. does he really mean it when he says "i love you" ? What should i do about the whole situation?! help?

This is a fire you don't want to get burned by.

Just leave the situation alone. You will end up losing your best friend, over a guy that you don't even know if he really cares or loves you.
