My best friends boyfriend told me that he likes me and that he wished he had met me before her. I have no idea what to do. I kind of have feelings for him but I don't know what to do about them. I don't want to mess up my friendship with her but I also don't want to hurt him by telling him that it can't happen. What should I do? What should I tell him?

A female reader, YouWish United States +, writes (10 June 2010):

YouWish agony auntBEST FRIEND LAW #1: Boyfriends are OFF-LIMITS. Doesn't matter if he looks hotter than a movie star, Don't even think about it if you value your friend. Make even one move towards this guy, and you lose your best friend for good. She's the one who supports you through thick and thin.

And you have a boyfriend anyways??? You're thinking about having your best friend's guy, and you still want sex with this guy, yet break up with him at the same time. It's not selfish that you're being. If you were a guy, we'd call you a player and a womanizer. It's okay to have fun, but NOT at someone else's expense, especially your best friend's!
