However recently my skin has started to itch and become irritated during hair regrowth. Luckily I don't get ingrown hairs often from shaving, but I need a way to treat this itching. I shower regularly using soap, but I don't use any lotion or moisturizer. I have also encountered itching roughly a month after shaving when the hair has been grown back. I don't believe I have jock itch. Any advice will help. I've tried looking it up on the internet but I need a more immediate solution. All I find are prevention methods, not treatment methods. I appreciate any information anyone can offer me. Thanks!

We aren't doctors and so it would be very difficult to comment so if you're worried about it that should be your first port of call
I can suggest a way to rid yourself of unwanted hair in that area though because a boyfriend of mine uses this method to great effect. He was always hair free with no irritation and he used hair removal cream. So much easier and safer than a razor in that area. Should probably sort the itch out first though.

Why don't you just trim it?
I don't think it's something you'll be able to stop happening to be quite honest. I shaved them once in the past and had the same problem and never did it again, I just keep them nicely trimmed now and never had a problem since.
