She acts much differently now though: passive, unenthusiatic, "doesn't want anything serious," (WTF?) and won't let me kiss her (yet). she used to be so vibrant, loving, and full of energy. What's the deal? Should I address these problems, or wait it out? What should I say if I do? What's the prognosis?

You need to talk to her and make sure she's happy with everthing and happy with you. At the moment, it sounds like she doens't want to get too close because of what has happened in the past. I would sit down with her and ask her how she's feeling and why she seems more distant.
