writes: Basically, i really like this guy at college.. he said to 2 of my friends a few weeks ago that he doesn't like me in that way or something, and he said some pretty harsh things because someone has been saying a load of shit to him about me and it kind of turned him against me.. so i thought. And since then he's been great with me, he hasn't' acted offish at all! Yet, i seem to be acting off with him and i find it really hard to be normal around him again - I don't think he knows that i know what he's been saying, and i've really left it too late to bring up the situation so i decided to leave it. But i'm really frustrated. I like him so much, and i'd always thought he felt the same way but now things are just awkward i don't know what to do. We're kind of drifting apart! And it makes it worse that its the easter holidays now so i won't see him for 2 weeks :( Reply to this Question Share |

reader, anonymous, writes (4 April 2009): If he said harsh things about you behind your back then why would you want to continue to pursue him? Obviously he is the type to listen to what others say about you and not come straight to the source. And I would say he is a bit two faced if he is gonna say nasty things about you and then be fine to your face! After easter break I would talk to him about this. No matter how long its been. Its obviously still bothering you. I would say that you cant get it off your mind and want to talk about it to clear the air.
